During October 21st - 23rd, 2007 took place at Hotel Parc, Sibiu – Romania the second edition of The Natural Gas Forum, organized by Natural Gas Engineer Society Sibiu and Meda Consulting.
The Natural Gas Forum represents one of the most important events in this domain. At the first edition of the Forum (January 2006), as well as at the current edition over 70 companies from the natural gas domain took part.
The 2007 edition of The Natural Gas Forum created a debate platform where authorities representatives and specialists from natural gas domain discussed about the National Natural Gas Strategies, natural gas transportation on the liberalized market, the development and continuation of strategic projects, Romanian energetic geopolitics, Energy community Treaty, natural gas market liberalization, energy efficiency and environmental protection, elaborating and introducing The Network Code, long term agreements, pipelines constructions, maintenance and exploitation in natural gas sector.
