On March 26th, 2007, at Bucharest, Meda Consulting organized the 1st edition of the Conference “Energy Efficiency, an Essential Condition towards a Sustainable Development”. This event represented the beginning of an important debate platform in this domain, being supported by SCA Danila, Petre & Asociatii (as Associate Partner), as well as various institutions activating in this sector.
The first edition debates centered upon energy internal market competitiveness, energy efficiency investments, the rationality of an improved Energy Law, legal frame, energy transaction products efficiency, energetic security, electro-energetic system interconnection, Europe's natural gas supply, exploitation security of distribution and supply networks, energy economy, DSM solutions, strategic directions in order to reduce environmental impact, 2004/8/CE Directive, alternative energies, energetic independence, as well as promoting renewable energy sources.
